Graphic and Web Designer & Developer

Description

NFH, our sister company is currently looking for a Graphic and Web Designer/developer, who will work closely with the management/marketing team. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, be creative, effectively manage their time, and meet deadlines.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Create and develop graphics, layouts, socials, and illustrations targeted to professionals
Design and update product labels
Create, maintain, and print product information sheets and various product related material
Prepare and design pamphlets and other related marketing items
Collaborate with the marketing team, management, designers, and other project stakeholders
Updating website content by ensuring the integration of text and visual content
Optimize the development and integration of our web projects, respecting deadlines and improving efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality in web development
Proactively investigate and present new ideas to improve the experience of our website for prospects, potential customers, partners, and clients
Ensure the integration of text ergonomics of the site and compliance with technical and visual content and standards, SEO, keywords, etc.
Develop and implement processes and ensure the maintenance and updates of the sites
Creation of new websites
Maintain and update e-commerce shop platform
Ensure website backups, maintain domains & hostings
Other possible marketing/graphic design/web development-related duties

Skills and Competencies

Strong creative skills
Demonstrated experience with InDesign, Adobe suite and Photoshop
Web development experience with WordPress and Drupal (front-end and back-end)
Good understanding of HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, AWS
Autonomy, ability to work under pressure and multitask
Meticulousness, attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Oral and written communication in French and English (customers located across Canada and the United States)

Education and Experience

A certificate in Graphic Design, web design, web development or an equivalence
1-2 years of relevant experience would be considered a strong asset

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (40 hours per week)
It is a permanent and full-time position
